Any Dry Falls reports today??

I'm thinking of heading there within the next couple of days.
How was the opener today? I 've never had great success there
At least not compared to nunnally,merry & lenice.
From what I've read before, dryfalls seems to heat up around may.

Unless I have missed out on somechanges to the regs, I didn't think that Dry Falls opened up until April 27. :DUNNO

You're right, you did miss some changes. Dry Falls opens today, the 1st, instead of at the end of the month.

This 4/1 opener is brand new for 2002.
Cant recall for sure but I think I found
that out somewhere on this site.
But it is a fact. Monday opener probably helped
keep the crowds down. I'm thinking I might
go wed or thurs this week.

DRY FALLS IS NOT OPEN!! THE NEW REGS ARE NOT EFFECTIVE UNTIL MAY 1ST 2002 SO WE ARE STILL UNDER THE APRIL 27 OPENER. DON'T GET CAUGHT AND DON'T COMPLAIN ABOUT POACHERS EVER AGAIN.

Randy, it's right on the WDFDW's web site. It opened this year on April 1.

Fish till ya drop.
Then suck it up
and fish the evening hatch.

Water was a cold 39-40 degrees and the chironomid hatch is barely starting.
Just a few hatch out if the afternoon is warm and relatively windless. Otherwise try leeches deep. A buddy sez the bite was very slow on the opener. I'm gonna wait for couple days of warm weather to get it going.
