Any Reports On Lenore, Dry Falls, Rocky Ford

I'm looking for any kind of report for this area.
This is the time of year when these waters really turn on.

Fish till ya drop.
Then suck it up
and fish the evening hatch.

I was on Dry Falls about a week ago. Fishing was slow to nonexistant.
About 15 guys there and only a couple fish caught to noon when I left.
It can turn on at any time now,but the callabaetis and chironomid hatches I expected to see were scant to zero.
Checked out Lenora and only one fisherman there...good indications that the bite hasen't started yet. Spent the afternoon chironomiding on Park and got 5 bows to 16" and 1 20" brown. Hot bite untill the wind picked up and killed it.

I was at Rocky Ford a couple weeks back, fish were selective as usual. Lost 4, landed one, all 6lb or bigger. Olive scuds were the ticket (nothing new there), size 16, but i did catch one on a red wire bodied chironomid pattern i came up with (had a secret ingredient to it...)

It was fun to watch the fish "circle my red chirono like sharks" when they first saw it...guess it was sort of a 'change up'.

make the trip, you'll catch fish, be patient and sneaky...

I haven't been there, but a buddy of mine fished Lenore earlier this week and caught fish to 24" fishing buggers deep at the south end of the lake.
