I finally reply in time for a fly swap and it has my name on it, even better. I'll tie a killer caddis, the fly that brought me my one and only brown trout, from MT's Gallatin River.
Can we hold it once we get to 12 tiers?

If you are still looking for participants I will throw in on this one. Probably with a small prince or custom if you prefer.

From all of the insults that I got from me trying to join a fly swap and me being who I am and very slow at tying I have decided to drop out. I'm sure that you can get another person to tie in my place. Besides I'm just not in the mood to tie now and I'm not even in the mood to fish either.Just seem to be getting to old to do anything anymore.
But maybe if I get out of this mood that I'm in I will try another one.

Oh man are you kidding me! Damn I was excited that I was going to actually get a fly from you. what the Heck! I am disappointed and I ain't joking either. Here I was thinking I was actually going to be one of the few who ever get a fly from you. well all I can say is I am totally bummed. :( :( :(

Ditto. No need to drop out, I'm no speedy Gonzales either. Haven't you heard the slow and steady wins the race. I'm so damn slow I haven't even decided what to tie yet.

Wow, what a response!
If you still have room, I'll participate. If not, I'm up for the next one. Or, alternatively, since you have received such a response, maybe the bunch can be broken down in to two beadhead groups of 10 or 12 each . . . ? Two groups wouldn't be any more difficult to organize than one. But, it sure would be a lot easier for participants to tie 10 or 12 bugs as opposed to tying 20-24 bugs.
Just a thought.
By the way, thanks in advance for the efforts!

Ok, I'll tell you what I will do I will tie up my version of the Cream Caddis Midge Nymph. It will be a woven fly with a black bead where the peacock herl head is at. I will send them in but I don't want any in return as I have so many flies now that I will never get to use them all. I'll get them tied up in the next few days so they are out of my way so I can get down to stream fishing full time.
This is from a friendly Old Man.

Sounds good, but are you sure you dont want any?
Old Man

Yes,and to think that I wasted a yes answer on my 4000th post. Man I must spend a lot of time at this stupid computer when I should be out fishing. But I've got a few flies to tie up so I can get out so I best be at the task at hand. I never relized that I could type so much and say so little.

Would like to know as to where these are to be sent to when we are all done tying them up. Or are you going to come to all of our houses to get them. Five left to tie. I'm doing a bakers dozen so you can do with what you want with the extras. When I get on a roll with these I usually tie untill I'm worn out. And now I feel like tying.

Keep rolling Jimbo, and send me a few extras! Did you notice too, that you have to get back to 4000 posts?
I still haven't decided what I'm going to tie, but I will let you know soon!

Yeah,I notced that. Guess that I will have to work just a little harder now. Guess that I will just have to get back to tying and see if I can get them done tonight. They are not hard to tie just takes a little longer to do them.
