THIS SWAP IS FULL
Okay Gang, we all have those flies that we always trust to change a skunk to a successful fishing trip. That's what we're tying for this one. Yeah, I know, I'm asking you to give away your secret flies, but who better to give them to than the fine folks here at WFF.
As usual, you should be tying less than, let's say, 2 years. This swap is open to any type of fly, dry, streamer, nymph, emerger, what ever.
Sign up will close on June 25th or when we have a bakers dozen of tyers. (For you really young folks, that's 13). Which ever comes first. Flies will be due to me, not in the mail by, but due to me, on July 26th. That gives us a month of tying to get ready.
As usual, I'll have a bonus fly in there that is one of my favorites, though not as simple to tie as the last two.
This will be the last beginners swap I'll be running until September. We should be out fishing as much as possible for the rest of the season.
Sign up quick then get to tying.
Oops, My bad! I forgot to post the address.
Mail your flies in a crush proof container to:

Grizzly 6 (ties a nice stimulator, I've fished them)
Just Learning (Don't let the name fool you, good tyer)
Lady Bug (My better half, VEE says Hi)
Griswald (Welcome back for another round)
Madison Angler (Glad to have you in)
Jaws (Looking forward to seeing some more of your work)
BarFly (His flies from the last swap were top notch)
Flip (Lots of folks from the last swap want to know how to rig their tube flies, for this swap, they gotta have hooks.)
Last Call (missed you on the last swap, Buddy.)
CaddisCaster (Welcome aboard)
Icconrad (Welcome to the swap)
Stokes (Back for another round also.)
The swap is full, unless I miscounted.

Count me in! This will help me speed up my production. I'm keeping the pattern a secret so fellow swapees will be surprised. Can't hardly wait to get that package in the mail and be surprised myself!
Lady Bug, I'm in love with your avatar image! (The big one seen in your profile...small image doesn't do it justice). What a hottie! (Don't let Leaky Tiki steal these flies...make him pay!)

I want in this time. I missed out on #2 (did't even see the post until after the swap was filled). I will get my flies to you on time I promise, so please, please, please with a cherry on top, let me in.
I personally do not have a go to fly for thoes times that I am skunked. My memory is to short to remember what fly worked for me the last time, or else I have to many different flies in the old fly box (boxes). I will take sugestions (help please) or will tie a favorite scrounged from a web site, magazine or book.

I'll take one of the last two slots, I have been tying for more than two years, but I am not a pro by any means. I have a peacock and cdc that seems to work mpst places.

Caddis Caster, could you drop me an e-mail. My addy is in my profile.
For all swappers, if you have any questions about the swap please feel free to drop an e-mail my way (none of that what's the meaning of life questions).

ICConrad has the distinction of being the first to have his flies in. They arrived, safe and sound in a crushproof container with an address label firmly affixed. Not only did he send us one "go-to" fly he sent his two best for each of you. Dandy looking flies, Bud. The rest of you are gonna have to wait to see these though. (yeah, even my wife.)

In by e-mail. Grizzly 6 and Flip (really, Flip said so)will be mailing their flies in the next couple of days. This swap is shaping up very nicely, so far. Early in, early out. Thanks for being so prompt, makes being a swapmeister easier and prevents the "Swap Nazi" syndrome mentioned in another thread.

That's okay, Lastcall, just don't let Flip beat you. That would be hard to live down in the fly swap circles. Just kidding. I just tied up my favorite go together flies. Of course they can also be used alone, but as a dry and a dropper they work great.

Grizzly 6's flies arrived today. Very nicely done. These are real fish catchers, I've used them and can testify to their fishiness.

Just a quick update. I won't be around to check the mail until Monday. I'm getting together with a bunch of other Indians to do some singing, dancing and feasting. No fireworks there.
Have a great 4th of July celebration and be safe.

Just got in a nice set of flies this afternoon, but there is no name of the tyer or the fly included. They are a nice small beadhead that looks like they would dredge a fish out of the deepest hole. Sure would like to put a name to them. If you sent them (in an old check box) please let me know who you are and the name of that gorgeous little fly.
Hope everyone had a safe and sane 4th and is back home with all our fingers, toes and eyes.

Ron, Just winding up a work marathon with a few therapeutic SRC hunting sessions to keep from "going postal." Would sit down in front of my vice and feel just like Nicholson with writer's block in "The Shining."
Only have 8 hours work scheduled for the rest of this week...leaves time/energy for tying and more fishing!
I'll get on mine, and seeing as how I mainly fish for SRC, they will be my current (funny how it seems to change over time) "go to" estuary SRC pattern.
Gotta go get that yardscapin' out of the way!

Howdy Swappers,
Some nice flies from Caddis Caster arrived today, safe and sound. Nicely tied Caddis.
With the deadlline looming ever closer we have 6 tiers who have their flies in. Caddis Caster, Lady Bug, Madison Angler, Grizzly 6, Vickie Eagle Elk, and first in was Icconrad.
The flies are getting better with every swap, but then that's the idea isn't it?
Have fun, fish when you get the chance, but don't miss the deadline.

The afternoon mail is so nice to get. LastCall's flies arrived this afternoon. Nice looking flies, but you don't get to see 'em until the swap is over. Even my wife has to wait until the day I mail the flies out to see her share of the swap flies.

I don't know if I'll be the last one, but I'm hoping to get mine in the mail tomorrow, or Thursday at the latest.
Work and out of town weekends killed my plan of getting these in early. 10 of them are tied...just need to finish up.

I will have mine in the mail either Wednesday or Thursday!

Flip, are you still out there? I seem to remember something about 5 days, hmm? All that coffee must be affecting my memory.
