I'm familiar with two "Kokanee Candy" patterns.

One was listed in Dan Homel's excellent booklet on Washington Lake fishing. It's essentially a small soft hackle with a mylar body. Supposedly good for kokanee.

The other is an obnoxious looking attractor fly used at Hosmer Lake in Oregon to agitate the Atlantic Salmon. I actually carry a few of these in by lake box. Last week I hooked a few Lahontans with the pattern at Omak Lake.

Hook: #10 LS
Head: Large silver lead eyes
Tail: Fl. Orange Marabou
Body: Fl. Orange Chenille with mylar mixed in (I think this is sold as "Polar Chenille")
Wing: Several Pearl Crystal Flash strands pulled over the eyes & extended back to the tail.
