Just bought this gizmo because I needed really fine dubbing that I just wasn't getting for my spey flies. This thing works like a champ and you can spin all kinds of stuff into it.

gliss 'n glow MOP Rott Beer
STS Trilobal Dub King Blue
Arizona simi seal dubbing red

Ice dub purple
STS Trilobal Dub Fl. Pink
Polor Chenille Claret

black dub
ice dub peacock
polar chenille red

I haven't tried feathers with it yet. Turned out a lot mini hare leaches with it today. Anybody else have one of these and what else have you mixed and spun into your dubbing?

Worldangler gave a demo at the OP Party of one. It looks slick, and kicks out some killer dubbing strands.

After-feathers would be great for damsel nymph bodies...

No, I mean one of these things: http://www.siman.cz/tools/06_tool.html

Take a closer look at the heads of these mini hare leeches. It's amazing how fast it is. Anybody else find other things to spin into it?

These are my latest dubbing brush flies. Only took about an hour or so.

That bottom left should make a good Chum fly. So Where's the one you were going to tie for me. After all the colors were my choice.

Matt,
marabou feathers work well for making dubbing brushes for leech patterns. You can combine hare dubbing and marabou. When making dubbing brush, put first hare dubbing on the wire, then marabou fibers.
Cheers,
Jan
