I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get rabbit fur for cheap. I would like the furs not faces. Preferrably dyed but not necessary. Also I am not a hunter, nor do I want to skin a dead rabbit.
Thanks.
Josh

The Morning Hatch sells them in Tacoma for 8 bucks a hide, also if you go into shops like Creekside for example even though they do not carry them in inventory they have the ability to order them for you, and you can just pick them up in a couple weeks.

This is a great idea and the only way to go if you tie lots of bunny leeches, etc.. just buy a razor blade and magic marker and a clamp and strip away!!

If Tandy Leathercraft is still in business, you should be able to get skins there for less than $5. Four or five years ago, they were selling for about $2 a hide. My son's Boy Scout camp sells them for crafts, and they were about $3 a piece as of last summer.

I saw a box full of dyed rabbit skins at the Port Townsend Angler the other day. I think he has a good deal on them. call Mike there at: 360-385-9618

Hey Josh. Give me a call tomorrow. That's if you have my # still. I'm placing an order with Hareline Dubbin tomorrow. If you want a hide, name the color and I'll order you them. Whole dyed hides (same they make their zonkers/crosscut) with. You just custom cut. Assume that's what you want? Nice hides. I have a few undyed that I plan to do myself (hard to find highlander green zonker strips). Let me know. Think they're only about $6 per hide. Have to double check. I've only ordered one dyed (I was given a bunch of white hides to dye my own) and can't remember cost. But don't think it's more then that.
