If it was me I would dye some white fur with Kool-Aid or some other dye. Seriuosly. There was an article in the last Fly-fisherman on it. I tried it and it was really easy. 1 package of "Ice Blue Raspberry Lemonade" gives a really nice light blue, but I'm sure that the color could be easily tuned to the dark king fisher with a little experimenting (ie increasing the amount of Kool-Aid). It only takes about 20 min from start to finish for each color. Another option would be to call the guys at Waters West in Port Angeles, tell them what you want and they'll send it to you. They don't have much of anything on their website, but they'll send you anything in the shop if you call.
