colored cork handles?

can you dye the cork handle at all. i have a nice blue blank and i would like to darken up the cork a bit with either a blue black or really dark color stain. any suggestions are much appreciated. thank you in advance- bhudda

Check rodbuilding.org. There have been alot of discussions of this in the past, but I am not sure of the details.

Thought at all about a solid wood handle? You can finish these with a dye to about any color you want.
