UV Knot sense as epoxy?

I was talking to a guy in a shop over the weekend that suggested using UV knot sense as epoxy on scuds, copper johns, callibaetis patterns, etc. The investment needed is a small UV light source to cure the goop. Anybody tried this? Pros/cons?

I tried it, about a $30 cost w/ light and goop. Didn't work for me, but I think I ordered and got "Knot Sense", not the UV version. :beathead:
