Fly patterns and sizes for the Skagit

I am preparing for the upcoming season gathering different fly sizes and patterns together. As I stated in my previous post I am new to the salt and don't have any experience with a fly rod in anything but fresh water. I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction for fly patterns and sizes for Deception pass, and the Skagit? I have heard a few things about general practitioners, popsicles, and so forth but without any insight to sizes and different colors I am pretty sure I will be doing more casting than fishing. I need help! :confused:
