My new salmon flies

Tied these up this morning. I am going to use the herring one for silvers in the salt and the pink pollywog like one for the silvers in the rivers. Do you think that they would work. Here is the Web site that I used to tie the fly. It is a pretty cool and inexpensive way to tie poppers.

heck yes - those look great. Can adjust the herring to have more body if you find bigger herring around, also could slap a large set of doll eyes on the popper head if you like.

If you get hits but few hook-ups try tying it with a #6 Gammy trailing hook on some 20# dacron.
