Anyone have a pattern for this?
Thanks!
From Flies of the Northwest, Inland Empire Fly Fishing Club, 1986,, p. 16 and 67:
Hook: Mustad 94840, 10-16
Tail: Golden Pheasant Tipett
Body: Green wool
Hackle: Grizzly
Wing: Mallard
Imitates the bright green caddisflies prevalent on the St. Joe River and other NW streams. Later tiers substitute polypropylene for the wool.
I can testify to the effectiveness of this fly in July/August N. Idaho cutthroat streams. Dandy fly.

There's also a soft hackle St. Joe Special that I came across when I lived in Wallace a few years back. It's similar in appearance to an Iron Blue Dun.
Thread: red silk
Body: grey muskrat
Hackle: ruffed grouse
