Recently I had some luck fishing for pinks on the Carbon. I tried many different flies but I started having success when I switched to small and pink. Over the course of 2 mornings I was able to bring 7 nice humpys to hand using the attached fly. I came up with this color scheme one day just puttering around at the bench. It is a variation of a fly that Ron Eagle Elk calls a Morning Glory. I am sure that it is NOT an original pattern, but I have never seen this particular color combination. Any information you might have on this pattern or color combination is greatly appreciated.
