To some it up are the tubes hard plastic or surgical plastic or rubber?

Tubes are readily available in plastic and metal. The plastic tubes are the most popular, due in part to the fact that they are inexpensive and can be cut to length. They are available in three different diameters:
Micro ($2.50)
Small ($3.50)
Large (3.50)
