Airflo delta multi tp line

Any body like the 9/10 Airflo Delta spey multitip line? I have an exclusive arsenal of rio spey lines right now. I have not casted this line, but I can buy it for 50 bucks from cabelas in there bargain cave? Anybody think this would be a good purchase?

For $50 you can't go wrong as long as you have a stick that it matches and you like short heads. Lots of positive feedback on the Deltas as a tip line.

While I like the rio turn over better ,I do like the way the airflo's handle ,euro line's just feel comfy, great lines ,great deal.Any nine weight with a pair will cast that line nice along with a reasonable ten weight.

Im at school right now and My rods are in Washington. Plus everything is frozen here so it wouldn't matter. I will be testing it at spring break in march. If I dont like it I will keep in touch. Ssickle also showed interest as well.

The only issue with this line is most likely it is an older version with a fat running line. Airflo used to have a nice skinny running line and then something changed. As of late 05 they went back to the smaller diameter running line. Line still works fine but does not shoot quite as well. If it really bothers you it only takes a second to splice a new running line on.

I see what you mean about the fat running line. It truely is not very much smaller than the head of the line. I will have to cast it to see if I like it or not.

If it is the old running line and you don't like the way it shoots no worries. Like Sean mentioned it only takes a few minutes to splice in a new running line.

If it is an older line it will have 19 ft of wear line behind the head then it will go into the running line. That is per Tim Rajeff. I have one and like it because depending which head you are using you have a nice sweet spot somewhere on the wear line.

It is 73 ft from the tip of the line to the end of the wear line. At the joint of the wear line and the running line you will find a small bump.
