I broke an oar yesterday floating the upper green. Curious if anyone knows where I can get them locally?

Thanks in advance:confused:

Which section of the oar? I have an extra handle section I could toss at you.

thanks but I need the paddle side

I'm actually looking for a pair so that I have an extra one on the boat. Going down class 3 rapids with one oar is b!tch.

wow, is there a warranty on those things. the guys in mizzou should shoot you an oar for the price you pay. i have 2 that are very old and have had no problems but i am a weakling and dont shoot fast water as im chicken. they are the best thing on the water. mike w

Why doesn't creekside have the Watermasters on the their website? My buddy is going to buy one here in the next few weeks.

I've broken a bunch (3 or 4 now) of oars on my two boats. I assume you're talking about the Carlisle type? You should be able to find replacement Carlisle breakdown oars at any larger whitewater/kayaking shop. I know for a fact the boys at WM buy them directly from NRS. I know there's a bunch of river supply shops in Seattle too, but wouldn't know specifics. They might hook you up with a new pair if you ask, but the Carlisle's are in high demand and there's often not very many in the shop (in Missoula). I also assume that the oar is actually broken (the plastic interior) and hasn't just popped a rivet... It is always nice to have a spare on long trips...

Haven't seen them locally--interesting that Creekside has them. If you can't get them locally, I purchased a spare from the manufacturer for my kickboat. $23.95 at http://www.kickboat.com/shopping/enter.html
