This is the first time I've seen doubled up wire (and two colours) to change the look of the body. Link has a series of colour photo's showing the construction of the fly. As a side note, this is one of the best UK based fly fishing boards going.

Very Nice, thanks for sharing! ans an aside, if you cate to buy some multi strand wire such as at the local hardware store and strip the casing, you have very affordable copper to tie with, and you can down to some really small diameters t ouse just as a rib/lock in

DANG IT!
I started messing around with twisting wires a couple months ago thinking I was Mr Creative...Guess I'm a day late and a dollar short...It is cool to mix colors, makes for a cool speckled look...:confused: bawling:

Not to worry Mr. T; Allan B is one of the best tier's in the UK. In the same section of the CF board he has several other 'things' he shows folks how to do. Best part is he's a VERY good photographer!
