I am thinking of hitting Lake Lenore in the next few days and was just wondering if anyone has been having any luck there lately???

We were there last Friday and the bite was pretty much off. Fish were in but I only saw one hooked in first 4 hrs of the day. Weather was crappy. We did, however, pay a visit to Rocky Ford the same day and two of us hooked 9 in an afternoon. Plus had several missed strikes so action was good there. :thumb:

Drove by yesterday on the way to and from Dry Falls. Looked like a ghost town. No one on the water. Water is up from last year. Should be good later after the fish get spawning out of their system.

Went by Saturday, two fishing the northend, three fishing the south end.
Did not see anyone with fish. It had been windy. My reports from others indicate that Lenore is very slow.

Isn't Lenore closed to trout fishing until June 1?

Gotcha. That helps me as well since I'm hoping to do some fishing on Lenore over Memorial Day weekend.

I was there yesterday at the north end. There 1.5 hours. Saw one fish caught. (Not by me.) Heavy south wind and rain made for a short day. Headed further west to find sun, calm winds and rainbows from the shore.

I stopped by Thursday morning on my way to Lake Roosevelt with three other guys. Two of us landed one each and I LDR'ed another. Got them on sno-cones about 3' below an indicator. We fished for about an hour. Saw lots of fish cruising. Two other guys were there when we arrived and saw one land a fish. We were going to stop by on our way home yesterday morning, but it was too windy for our liking. Went into Ephrata for a hot breakfast instead.
