Adding a pic next to my name

I was wondering how to add a picture to my personal info so it displays on the board when I post.

Also, I can't seem to find where/how to get to my personal information or profile.

Please assist.

On the left of the main forum link bar there is a link for User CP. In there you can access your profile info and add an avatar photo.

Whats an avatar photo? How do I convert a jpeg to an avatar? You must get a ton of dumb questions like this. sorry.

Its just the name given for the photo next to your forum name when you post. A jpeg or gif will work as is, no need to convert it. The avatar (http://www.washingtonflyfishing.com/board/profile.php?do=editavatar) section of the User CP (http://www.washingtonflyfishing.com/board/usercp.php) (user control panel) allows you to choose from existing photos or to upload your own.

It's not a dumb question if you haven't used a discussion forum before. I'll suggest that you look through the User CP area as it has a lot of options in there you wouldn't know are available otherwise.
