We were teased with a trace amount of rain over the weekend so I thought I would go try my luck today. Swung through one of my most favorite spots and nothing.. Just as I was finishing up, a guide and his clients (flyfishing guide) come up behind me. I didn't see them, and I turned around saw them, and about fell in. It just startled me to see three guys in a raft 10 ft away.

So they go by me and I'm thinking, "crap, this is gonna suck, I'm gonna have to play leap frog with the guide all morning".

This is the guide and two clients. (recognize them?) Oh, It's not Phyllis Negro. This guide was nice, he stayed behind me until I was done with the run.

Well I swing through the run and at the very end of the run this nice fish greets my fly with his jaws...

I have to admit I was a little shocked to pull a fish out of here, but I'll take a fish whenever I can.

I float by the guide and clients and then keep on floating down aways to let them have a few holes so as to not have to leap frog again.

The next stop I swing through another little run and this nice fish slurps my fly...

Is the plastic ever going to come off the cork? :p The water seepage stains it. Nice fish.

Inland, Justin thinks keeping plastic on the cork is like safe sex. That way that rod will always be a virgin.

Purple and blue DO NOT WORK! EVERYONE STOP USING IT IMMEDIATELY. He obviously flossed this fish since purple and blue don't work! Everyone go back to black immediately!

Nice is that a purple and blue skagit minnow, and what ever you do don't take that shrink wrap off of that rod grip, your on a roll !!

It's just a bunny leach with bead chain eyes and a few pieces of rubber legs. Nothing special.

Sheet fly,

It's a Pentax Optio WP 6MP. I got it at Costco for $250. IT is great. IT shoots underwater pics and small movies.
