the boat build continues at almar. progress as of yesterday:

my gallery also has a shot of the portside beach steps. since the deck selfbails, it's possible to open the gunnal and step out. have to watch the tides as a couple of folks are not going to push this boat off the beach :)
changed my mind about the electric motor and am now going to have the lenco 'trollin'tabs' installed. going back and reading the critiques would tend to indicate that they are a problem in shallow flats types of situations, which don't apply on the strait.
