We had a big group - 10 guys on 2 boats, including 3 tuna newbies. The location: 40-45 due west of the mouth of the Columbia. The weather was crap with overcast skies and wind all day, along with moderate swell to keep you on your toes. The albacore were there though, you just couldn't see them until you were nearly right on top of them. The boat I was on ended up with 11 tuna, 7 of which were fly-caught. The other boat landed 13 for a group grand total of 24. Everyone caught fish and we even got a few Dungeness crab from the pots when we came back in.
