Can anyone direct me to a site that has instructions for tying the Enrico Puglusi (sp?) baitfish series of flies? I bought some but need a little help on how to best flare the materials into a flat shape.

Cut the material at twice the length and half the density you need, tie in at the halfway point, then fold the material back over itself and wrap to hold it down. It's the same technique you use for Flashy Profile Flies.
In all seriousness though, Puglisi's flies are the most overrated patterns I've ever seen.

Agree entirely, I'll take an ALF everytime, however, the Hi-Tie tying style (puglisi, ALFs, Aztec, others) is indispensible for warmwater tying. Is there a better way to tie sunfish looking patterns... Nope!

You can tie awesome clousers with the ep fibre.

Guys....thanks for the help. What the heck is an ALF anyway? I'd like to find something even better if it is around. My last trip to Mexico, the dorado seemed to like the EP flies more than the others I tried so I wanted to tie a few for future use. The hook broke on the only one I had so I didn't have enough for a real test.
