Greetings all! The Speyfair in breathing down our necks! This weekend should be fun. This may be repetitive to a few of you, but in case you haven't heard, Aaron is looking for help doing setup for the event. I'm copying his message below this one for anyone interested in helping out. Hope you all can make it have some fun, maybe even jump into the casting comp! I haven't picked up a rod since July for a variety of reasons, but I may give it a go. So you at least know you won't be dead last! There will probably be at least one impromptu "gathering of the Clan", and if enough of you show up something more formal perhaps. Come on out, meet some folks, meet some gear designers, learn some casting and fishing tricks, try some new stuff! Hope to see you there. As promised here's Aaron's message about setup.

Wanted Speyfair workers

Tolt McDonald Park Carnation Washington

I will need some help staring at 9:00 am Friday October 27, 2006 I will have my Hospitality trailer set up adjacent to the service road at the south end of the park. To avoid confusion please park where we park for Saturday on the River and walk though to park on service road to the campground.

The two major jobs will be putting up the canopies for the vendors and laying out the distance-casting course in the river. Some people will need waders.

We would hope to have all the work done by 1:00 P.M. so we can start qualifying rounds for the Speycasting Competition.

Thanks for the Support

Vendors? The usual big name suspects, as well a couple unusual ones, like Bob Meiser. There will be more than enough toys to try out to keep anyone busy, and the water is right there... Don't step on the dead salmon... They're slippery:p
