Hey kid, I just turned 59 and I'm still a kid, you're doing great, the best info I heard was if 4 or 5 turns to lock it down give it one, two or three. That way you'll have some thread to make a nice neat head. Some of the better tiers here can give you some more tips. Just keep tying with the new vice and have fun inventing new things.
