Caught a couple of references to 'fluorescent Marabou' materials in flys; don't recall ever seeing this stuff (at least locally). Any one used it for winter steelhead patterns?

I use fluorescent blue in a variation of the blue moon. I tie one variation w/ kingfisher blue schlappen, but the other w/ the fluourescent blue and a few strands of blue flashabou. I've only fished the pattern for summer runs, but it's been effective. Sometimes the more muted pattern works and sometimes the brighter. You can't really see the fluorescence until it gets in the water, but when it does get wet, the effect is pretty cool.

Thanks BT, that's what I expected. Wet 'it' and 'away it goes.'
