Are some of the Rio tips the same?

For instance I just got my first spey rod and line (windcutter 8/9/10), used. When I opened the package with the line in it I expected the longer belly section and made no real assumptions about the tips. But when I cleaned the tips and had a closer look they seemed exactly the same as my Rio Versa-tips.

Do I have two sets of the same tips now?

Yes they are the same. The only differnce may be the grain weights. On the loop section of the tip it wil have a big strip and and some thinner strips, the big stip is 5 and the smaller one is 1. So if you have a 9 wt tip it will have 5 stripes, one thick and 4 thin.
