I guess it all depends on which shop you take it to! Some are faster than others! :(

Check out CNDSPEYUSA, the new US distributors. There is a contact link included. If Lee and Nancy have parts for your rod in stock their turnaround will amaze and delight you!

Cascade,, not sure about the CND line but i went through a number of the old Diamondback spey rods with the spigot ferrules. Always the same break point,, male spigot on the tip

Cascadekiller, CND has had a few models with breakage problems that are no longer in production. The ones currently available don't break any more than other brands and probably less than most.
Other than that, I agree with Bert. Lee and Nancy have an amazing track record for quick replacement of broken rods.

Steve,
Let me guess, a Custom 1307? I've had 3 of them break while I was casting. Lee and Nancy are really great. But after 3 breakages, I upgraded to a Solstice, much as I loved that Custom.

Got my Skagit and Salar when Nubo first started demonstrating them. Haven't had a single problem and have enjoyed the hell out of them.

Salmo,
you guessed it exactly.... I was thinking i'd upgrade to the north fork. Not exactly a pretty rod, but i hear they cast well. I don't really like the look of the black speys. Do you know anything about em?

Steve,
Sorry to hear, but many have loved, only to be disappointed in the Custom 1307. I hear good things about the Black Speys, but haven't seen nor test driven them. The North Fork should be a good, durable, alternative.
Sincerely,
Salmo g.
