I decided that since I have some time on my hands I would make my own flies to frame for the office here at home.

I am not sure what to call it or if it has been tied before but I just made it up as I went in the same orientation that the feathers naturally grow on the bird.

Pheasant;
Rump, saddle, flank

Now I think the flies I have been looking at online are a bit more wispy than mine.

a little dense. Maybe try the same combo of materials on a bigger hook, good stuff though. be careful, a step down the path of spey tying can quickly lead to an obsession ;)
