David, thanks for sharing the great photos of your tube flies. The first photo is awesome. Would you please post your materials list and brief tying instructions for this fly? I fish a lot of tube flies and would like to add this one to my box.

I'm also thinking I could replace that aqua with a coral and you'd have a nice squid pattern. Well, OK, maybe a few other slight mods, but I like that pattern...

Materials
Shank/Tube
Saddle feathers in Blues
Lt Blue Flashabou
Stiffish Polar Bear blue
Body Braid Flash Blue
Rhea Darkish Blue
JC

Instructions:
Tie in PB 360 around tube (As to make a cage surrounding where fook will be
Tie in thin saddles around cage
Tie in some flash if desired and then JC Nails
Tie in body braid an wrap 2/3 up shank
Reverse tied PB as a collar 360 (slightlyflared as support for rhea)
Take a S 6" strip/section of rhea and wrap tight touching wraps as collar over a bed of flexament for durability
Tie off

Come tight on the swing!

David, thanks for the materials list and instructions. I have all of the ingredients. Now all I need to do is get through the year-end business crush to free up some creative time at the vice. I loved the additional flies that you posted today. I have a similar tube problem. I have a buddy that is continuing to develop a very cool sequin tube clouser. It has been very effective on some of our local salt water species.
