McNeese' Knouse, from the gentleman himself. Combining pink/ orange and purple, something the fish of the Santiam and other rivers here seem to adore. Thanks for the fly Dave!
A variant of the Knouse, I am fresh out of purple pintail till the dye pot gets back up running.
Hook: TMC 202SP
tag; silver & fluorescent pink mylar
tail; red parrot
rear body; hot pink seal
front body; purple seal
body hackle; pink spey
throat; pintail & peahen (just purple pintail flank)
wing; purple bronze mallard (purple pintail)
