Davy Wotton tied up a remarkable prawn fly on a tube for "Tube Fllies" the book co-written by Mark Mandell and me. It is a rather time intensive tube in my opinion but Davy used it in his native Wales for Atlantic salmon with great success.
Good Tying,

Hey Ringlee...
I am stripping and wrapping
the racis is somewhat delicate hence the counter rib with wire...
another option if wrapping over flat braid, thread or non scraggly materials is to coat flexament on the body of the fly prior to wrapping
Les.....
I haven't seen that book you refer to but when I do I will let u know what I think (Davy Wotton does nice work)

Great looking prawn on a tube. I dont even want to try to tie any on tubes because they will not look half as good as yours!
