I'm going ice fishing to Georgetown Lake in Mointana next month. Last year all the fish we caught were full of these very small greenish freshwater shrimp. I'm wondering if anyone knows of a simple fly pattern that can be dropped through the hole in the ice and used like a jig. I think something like that would knock them dead.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Bill

were they scuds?

i dunno of any scud jigs, but u could eitheir use a sinking line and tie on a few spitshotsand put it at the right depth and let it sit their, using a tightline presentation,, and when your arms or hands move a little the scud will move.
