View Full Version : NFR: Had a good laugh over a UK fly board post.

Thread on one of the major UK based fly boards asked 'do you/how do you find' posting on US based fly boards. General answer was they're all very polite and 'demure' in their postings .... with a couple of exceptions. This Board being one where the posters can get pretty rowdy at times.

So you have a context, the folks in the UK board have no problem taking baseball bats and beating the crap (in print) out of another poster. There's one thread going now where the (one and only) Moderator has had to remove half the individual posts as they were (even for the Drooler's Den on Steelhead.net) WAY over the top.

Sooo ... it seams you fellows have developed a 'street rep' of being the Rowdy Ones. Go figure?:confused:
