i'm new to it and was wondering what is the best way to make a nice sculpin head with it? i have been applying it like dubbing, but it doesn't look as nice as some of the others i have seen

Tie it like you would deer hair in bunches around the hook, brush it out like an afro wig and then trim it like a pom pon into shape.

Yes that will do, its not really hard to do as I thought, even I can do them now, and they don't have to be perfect for the fish to like them.

Mike, where are you buying the wool from? Got any links or is it some place local your getting it from.
