Has anyone used any of the psuedo products, psuedo hair, psuedo herl, psuedo marabou, psuedo hackle? Psuedo hackle in particular, seems a lot cheaper than regular hackle, but i dont know what kind of quality it is.

Dude, its fake... but I suppose you might like fake materials if you like fake boobs, or soy burgers, or malt beer. I like two out of those three, so I might give fake materials a try. Good luck.

Many of the 'pseudos' you've mentioned are wonderful tying materials and I'd encourage you to experiment with them.
Keep in mind that they're not any better or worse than their organic or natural cousins - but they are quite different.
About the only synthetic material that I avoid like the Plague is chenille - it is completely devoid of any 'soul' (or 'life-like' qualities) and I abhor the stuff.
Just sayin'...

I also have problem with chenille although I appreciate its historical relevance especially in northwest patterns.
I will admit to a moment of temporary insanity two years ago when I tied up a few reverse spiders using micro chenille before coming to my senses and switching to peacock herl.
Typically during moments of such self delusion, my fingers (which seem to have a mind of their own), will lock up into a paralytic state, thus saving me from actually winding the horrid stuff on a hook.
IMHO It's just so danged ugly.

Ive used psuedo seal dubbing by spirit river and like most of it alright but some of the colors fade. Neon pink turns to peach for example. Prefer the real deal (canadian goat I think were supposed to call it)
