Adding airbrush to my custom rods.
This is for Doug hes a member on the forums who never posts hehe, he just reads. Doug, I hope you like it .
I have not put the epoxy yet, so it will look a little bit more shiny once it is applied.

It looks nice. This may be a dumb question, but do you have to cover the airbrushed area with an epoxy finish to protect it?

It's not a dumb question. It depens on the type of paint you use, im going to use an epoxy on this just to be safe.

That's really a great idea! Have you thought about airbrushing color patterns of your favorite salmonids.

I've been toying with the idea of airbrushing, but haven't take the plunge. I'm still trying to get weaves down, but since I haven't mastered that yet, I need to table the paint stuff until later :) BTW, great looking stuff!

That's a cool effect. Are you using acrylic paint?

I used Createx Auto Air, it's a acrylic enamel.
