i have convinced my school to have a fly tying class in home base, im trying to get more kids my age interested in the out doors, plus it acts as credit for home base.:beer2:

dude sounds awsome one of my teachers was going to starta fly tying class but not anuff people were intrested.when a pmd turns into a spinner is it called a pms? who made that up its funny

I wish my school have a fly tying contest, I mean picture it getting credit towards to do your favorite hobby you do at home any ways. Sounds like a dream come true.ptyd

When I went to Davenport HS, we learned about bovine and farming. I might have actually been interested in fly tying.

This is awesome. Just think...I could have learned years ago and gotten credits for it. Instead I'm learning now with my own son :beathead:

Guess it's worked out just fine...we never stop learning anyway. :cool:

That's great! We taught last month at a deal here on the Island for the Local 4-H group called "Super Saturday" . We had a lot of kids that were interested in the classes. Some of them were only interested in the girls in the class though:hmmm:
I though that it was interesting when asked that most of the kids wanted to tye flies to go fishing with their Dad, grandpa, uncle or whoever... That's cool!
