CND 14'3 7/8 needs reel

Just purchased this rod for my every day spey rod looking for a reel. Looking at the mackenzie extreme or the mackenzie extreme perfect would like to through mid belly lines and soon long belly lines and other reel sugestions would be great as well thanks to all:beer2:

I put a Mackenzie Superlite (M6SL) on that rod for a customer and it was a good match. I believe the line was a Delta Long 7/8 and enough 30# backing for the Clearwater here in Idaho.

There are a great many reels that will do what you want. Some I'm familar with are the Salmon #2, Lamson Radius 4 or Velocity 4, Tioga 12 standard arbor.

Red Shed thank you very much for the information i went with bauer mx5.With delta long spey with tips in 7/8 for the rod i will be fishing all the lower mainland british columbia rivers with this rod and the skeena water shed aswell my back up rod is a g loomis glx 13'4 7/8 skagit rod with bauer superlight 6 so i am set up for a wile thanks for your suggestions
