So I tried to tie an articulated fly today and when fishing it, it came loose. I could really use a pattern if someone has one.
Much appreciated,
Frank.

How'd you tie it? What part came loose?
Is this a 'stinger' setup, or just a 'jointed' fly?

Chadk,
I went to creekside today and asked how it was done. What I did was made a loop with two hook on it and joined the two ends of the fire wire together. It looked right but performed wrong. Eventually the knot turned loose from the casting and I was fishing without a hook (without me knowing).
So thanks for you help. Potentially.
I do have one quesion though, Do you make a loop and take both ends through the eyelt and then just tie the mono in with the pattern so to speak?
Frank.
