I'm heading over to the Seattle area this week. I've never FF salt. Can anyone suggest an area I might try. I would like to try for some sea run cuts. I'm not looking for any secret spots. Any ideas would help a dry sider.
thanks

A quick browse in the Salt Water section will yeild some great options.
Any public access is worth a shot. Hit it at first light. Sunset can be nice too (but often more beach walkers to worry about hooking on your backcast). Certain tides are better than others - but it can really depend on the specific beach. Look for jumping fish (close to beach will tend to be the cutties, further out will be the salmon). Also look for signs of bait being chased.

And please don't forget that area 10 is closed for salmon fishing, open for SRC, catch and release only.
In addition to the two mentioned, other popular beaches in the Seattle area are Picnic Point, Meadow Point and Lincoln Park. Basically any stream outlet and/or significant point. A can't-go-wrong style fly would be a small (1 1/2"), sparse baitfish pattern in olive and white. Pink/white, blue/white and chartruse/white are other good color combos. Poppers are fun.

Thanks you all for the information. If you're ever in the Omak area and need some help let me know.
