Ok I just got a used clouser traveler and was wondering could someone please take pity on me and explain the proper way to adjust the two thumb screw dealybobs to hold the hook. Im dying to tie up some flatwings but dont want to screw up ( so to speak) the jaws by doing it incorrectly. Ive become spoiled with my cam saltwater traveler. The guy sent me the directions for a saltwater traveler cam vice. So now I have those instructions but need help with these thumb screws. Thanks in advance. Kevin

Adjust the two screws so that the jaws are parallel and the gap between the two jaw pieces are about the size of the hook. Place hook in the jaws, tighten upper screw enough to secure the hook then tighten lower screw to hold hook tight.
Hope this helps,

Thanks Steve, that seems to do the trick. Really like the clouser arm but I sure like the ease of the cam lever. Guess you cant have your cake and eat it to. Thanks again. Kevin
