todya i wachted my best freind a avid fly fisher man show his three year old son how to tye a san juan worm and the kid LOVED it. the fly turned out great in the end:D its pretty awsome to see the younger generations geting in to tying like that any one else know a tyer that young?

My 2 year old boy likes to wrap a thread base on my hooks for me and hand me materials. He doesn't quite have the coordination or attention span to do much more yet. Not to shabby for a kid who ate a brown crayola a couple days ago though. :rofl: He's just happy to be hanging out with dad. :cool:

That's about how old Gus was when he "started tying". He loves the whole thing, and some of his creations would actually catch fish.
