I've been a member for a couple of years now, and I'm not one to advertise health issues, but I'm so giddy tonight after a second successul cataract surgery today I had to say to the world how great it is to recapture one's eyesight. It has been a multi-month decline in vision, to the point of not being able to tie a fly, tie a bloodknot, tie a fly to the leader, nor see where my line goes when casting. Now, after a second lens replacement today, I'm back in business. I can do all of the above! Just a quick note of gratitude for modern medicine. To any doctors on this website, thank you for what you do for us. Like so many, I thought I woudn't suffer the ills of the old as I got older, but this was a wakeup call. There's nothing like regaining one's eyesight to make one's day, week, month, or year. Enjoy one day at a time; Life is Good. Tight lines, everyone.
