My friend lend me a video (VHS) called "The essense of spey casting" by Mel Krieger. It's a great video, and the instructor is so "charmy" in explaining the casting principles. I think this is a very good video for new comers or even experienced casters. The best part of the video is he expain how the main principle work under the different fancy casting forms. For instance, he explain the snap T and spinal roll have the same essence, that is 1) bring the fly close to you and 2) also give you enough slack line to grow a D loop... this is really good video IMHO. I also recommand the other DVD called "The art of spey casting" host by Lani Waller. I really enjoy watching them! :beer2:
