I have no affiliation with this company. I subscribe to a NZ fishing mag and they always have real cool stuff for fishing.

you put on a deck and it looks like a real cool machine.

Very nice boat!! For now the Bainbridge Island Ferry still allows me to have a very large fishing deck and best of all, I don't have to pay to dock it!!!

That actually looks like a cool boat; imagine heading out to Tatoosh from Neah Bay and tangling with rockfish and silvers!! But, I do have some concerns.

First, it seems that with a heavy motor at the far end of the boat and the weight of the operator amidships or slightly behind the center of the boat, it would seem to be pretty stern heavy (never mind any gear you put in it). I would have concerns about stability.

Second, given the abundance of woody debris in our waters, I would be concerned that one could rip a pontoon if you were just flying across the sound and could not see the wood coming (sun in your eyes, fog, dead-head, etc.). A ripped pontoon could ruin your day.

Still, innovation is a good thing,

Steve

Just for fun I asked about more info. The boat sells for $3995 and the front deck is another $800. Apparently they are used by the Kiwis as far as 20 miles out to sea.

WOW! Very cool! Now I am thinking about a fun new toy for me! Woohoo! That would be a blast to do many things in and in various areas, but not something I would want to use all the time...

Thanks for the link!

It doesn't appear like that it has pontoon that inflate, they are solid polyethylene.

Hi Jason,

Thanks for your clarification. I took a closer look at their gallery and you're right.
