My bobbin has become severely clogged. Please help me return it to a functioning state.

How clogged are we talking? Could you just run water through it? Small paperclip + water?

yeah were talking really clogged, I cant get a paper clip through and hot water didnt do the trick either.

I'm guessing you backed some crazy glue inside respooling loose thread?

Dip it in head-cement thinner?

Got her working again, boiled the whole thing for an hour and a half, that loosened up the grime enough for me to plunger it out. Thanks

What kind of thread are you using? I've clogged bobbins with different threads, but UTC thread keeps them very clean, and I like tying with it besides.

Ive been tying exclusively with utc gel spun thread for the last few months (it is awesome), and it doesnt seem like it rubs off too much, so I am guessing I clogged it some other way
