I got to the point at around 6am. There were A good number of coho surfacing and jumping about 40 to 50 feet of the beach. I hooked 2 that spit the hook. After that It died down for about 2 hours. Then I caught a 14" cutthroat and a 17" flounder. The wind finaly picked up a little and the coho were back on the surface. I hooked one more but lost it soon after. I was using a 3 inch silver epoxy head minnow on a size 4 hook. You can see a picture of the fly in my album. I am planing on going back tomorrow to try to get a coho to stick. For you pink guys I think it is a little early still down around southworth but the humpies should be showing up very soon. :)
