Sweet pics, thanks for sharing. I work in Kodiak for 2 seasons and Eagle River for two, and not once did I get to pick up my fly rod, never forgave myself for that. Then last summer spent five days fly fishing in Kodiak and I will never forget it.
Thanks for sharing the pics.

How on earth did you manage that?

It is hard work being that stupid. First I was a poor college student and always working, second I have only ever been a trout hunter and didn't have the gear, and finally I wasn't quite as addicted back then as I am now. That was almost 15 years ago and I have only been addicted hard-core for the last five. However, at the time I did realize I was missing out. Like I said, I have never forgiven myself for that.
Again, thanks for posting. I always enjoy your pictures as I love it up there.
Mike

Those pictures are so beautiful!!! You are very lucky to have that opportunity. I've been stuck in an office way too long! :beathead:

I'll be somewhat close to that area in 10 days (Wood Tikchik State Park). If it's even possible, I'm even more excited to go now!

You know what I think the best part of field seasons up in AK (mine spent in Chignik) are? The fact that when I'm walking to the bar in chiles at the Anchorage airport my standards for girls have been lowered sooooo much from not seeing any that I feel like every girl in that place is a super model
